Lecture 06 - Black Body Radiation VI - Wien's Distribution Law and Rayleigh-Jeans Distribution Law

Here Wien's description of the spectral density of radiation is discussed and compared with the experimental radiation curve. Another formula given by Rayleigh and Jeans is also discussed and compared with the experimental graph. We end the lecture by presenting the formula for the energy density inside a cavity in terms of the average energy of a radiating oscillator in the cavity.
