Public Health 250B: Epidemiologic Methods II (Fall 2013, UC Berkeley). Instructor: Professor Jennifer Ahern. This course is designed to introduce, compare, evaluate and apply conceptual frameworks, measures, study designs, and analysis approaches used in the field of epidemiology. Topics include causality, measure of disease, measure of association, study design (trials, cohort, case-control, case-sectional and ecological), biases, screening, statistical inference, analyzing epidemiologic data and literature review.
