Digital Integrated Circuits. Instructor: Prof. Amitava Dasgupta, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras. This course shall discuss the entire domain of digital circuits with an emphasis of high speed integrated digital circuits. In order to understand or appreciate the working of these digital circuits, it is very important to have a basic understanding of semiconductor devices, how this device works, and how these devices are modeled. Topics covered in this course include semiconductors, diode and BJT model parameter extraction, standard TTL circuits, Schottky transistor logic, I2L technology, ECL basic operation, and semiconductor memories.
