Hydraulics. Instructor: Prof. Arup Kumar Sharma, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati. Hydraulics basically deals with flow and conveyance of liquid, principally water. Hydraulic Engineering aims at understanding the physical processes of fluid flow analytically and empirically; expressing these processes mathematically; utilizing these understanding of flowing liquid in the design of various water related structures, devices and systems.
