16.687 Private Pilot Ground School (January IAP 2019, MIT OCW). Instructors: Dr. Philip Greenspun and Dr. Tina Srivastava. This is a three-day workshop that took place during the MIT Independent Activities Period (IAP) in January, 2019. This workshop aims to provide information for students to prepare for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test. Topics include airplane aerodynamics, aircraft systems, navigation, meteorology, aircraft ownership and maintenance, aircraft performance, multi-engine and jets. (from ocw.mit.edu)
