Nancie H. Herbold, Ed.D., Ruby Winslow Linn Professor of Nutrition and Chair of the Nutrition Department, School of Health Sciences at Simmons College discusses obesity, diets, weight gain and loss. These are the issues that many Americans struggle with daily. What better way to explore them than with longtime faculty member Nancie Herbold.

Herbold's tenure at Simmons has included organizing classes of students to travel to Italy to study the Mediterranean diet and to Peru to improve safety and nutrition for newly weaned infants. She recently finished a study on adolescents use of traditional and non-traditional dietary supplements, and has researched complementary therapies and weight management issues. Herbold also has worked as a consultant for corporate wellness programs, home health agencies, and individuals wanting to improve their nutritional well-being. Join us as Professor Herbold explores some of our society's most important health challenges.
