Math 131B: Introduction to Probability and Statistics (Summer 2013, UC Irvine). Instructor: Professor Michael Cranston. Math 131B is an introductory course covering basic principles of probability and statistical inference. Topics covered in the course include point estimation, interval estimating, testing hypotheses, and Bayesian approaches to inference. The course will cover Chapters 7 through 10 with a touch of 11 of John Rice's Mathematical Statistics and Data Analysis, 3rd Edition, 2007.
