What is Life? Where did it come from? Why does it end? Wonders of Life is a five-part BBC documentary series presented by physicist Brian Cox, discovering how a few fundamental laws of science gave birth to the most complex and unique feature of the universe - life. Brian Cox takes us on a journey across the globe to see how life began on Earth and how the flow of energy created and supports life; to showcase how the laws of science allowed senses to arise; to analyse why Earth is a fertile place and how it allows complex life to exist; to explore the physics of the size of life; and to explain what makes Earth a home for life.
