Walking with Beasts
Walking with Beasts is a BBC documentary series narrated by Kenneth Branagh, about life on Earth in the Cenozoic, from the late Cretaceous (65.5 million years ago) to the late Pleistocene (30,000 years ago). The series consists of six episodes, each of which deals with life in a particular period of the Cenozoic by featuring a particular creature or family group, its habitats, and its survival strategies. And also it includes some of evolutionary concepts such as the evolution of whales and the evolution of humans. The series recreates life in the Cenozoic by using film making techniques such as animatronics and computer-generated imagery.

Episode 1 - New Dawn
This episode is set in the warm tropical world of the early Eocene (49 million years ago) when Earth was ruled by birds, and mammals were still very small.
Episode 2 - Whale Killer
This episode is about life in the late Eocene (36 million years ago) when the world was covered more by water, and the ancestors of today's whales ruled the oceans.
Episode 3 - Land of Giants
This episode deals with life in the late Oligocene (25 million years ago), telling the story of a mother Paraceratherium and her newborn calf.
Episode 4 - Next of Kin
This episode is set in the late Pliocene (3.2 million years ago), and it focuses around a tribe of small hominids known as Australopithecus.
Episode 5 - Sabre Tooth
This episode is set in the early Pleistocene (1 million years ago). It shows the strange fauna of the isolated continent of South America and explores the effects of the Great American Interchange.
Episode 6 - Mammoth Journey
This episode is set in the late Ice Age of the late Pleistocene (30,000 years ago), and focuses on the migration of the herd of mammoth.
