Indian Ocean with Simon Reeve is a six-part BBC TV series presented by Simon Reeve, traveling around the edge of the Indian Ocean. Starting his journey in South Africa, Simon Reeve headed up the east coast of Africa, around India and back down the western coast of Indonesia to Australia. The extraordinary adventure took Simon to 16 countries, as he braved the horrors of Mogadishu in Somalia, perhaps the most dangerous place on the planet, and travelled on to the beautiful Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles.

Episode 1 - South Africa to Zanzibar
Simon Reeve begins his adventure from the rugged coast of South Africa, where he joins the fight against wildlife poachers, through Mozambique, and on to the tropical island of Zanzibar.
Episode 2 - Madagascar to the Seychelles
Simon Reeve visits the tropical Indian Ocean Islands of Madagascar, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
Episode 3 - Kenya and the Horn of Africa
Simon Reeve travels from the south of Kenya, through Mombasa and the beautiful Tana Delta, to Mogadishu in Somalia.
Episode 4 - Oman to the Maldives
Simon Reeve starts off in the Strait of Hormuz - the most strategically important region of the entire Indian Ocean - and travels to Mumbai, then on to the Maldives.
Episode 5 - Sri Lanka to Bangladesh
Simon Reeve looks around the island of Sri Lanka, which has been a target for invaders and colonisers for centuries, then travels to Bangladesh.
Episode 6 - Australia and Indonesia
Simon Reeve starts on the northern tip of Sumatra, then travels to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. And finally he makes his way to Australia, where he meets crocodile-catchers.
